Donald J. Cinotti MD joined his father's practice - Hudson Eye Physicians and Surgeons (HEPS) in 1981 after finishing his ophthalmology residency at the New York Eye & Ear Infirmary. Dr. Cinotti is an Associate Clinical Professor at UMDNJ and is the Director of the Eye Trauma division at Jersey City Medical Center. Dr Cinotti has always been involved in the politics of medicine. He has served on many committees and boards, and continues his involvement. He is a past president of the New Jersey Academy of Ophthalmology and the Hudson County Medical Society. Dr. Cinotti is past chairman of the board of trustees for Healing the Children is on the board of the New Jersey Medical Society. Dr Cinotti was the 218th President of the Medical Society of New Jersey, completing his term in 2011. He also serves as counselor from New Jersey to the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He has made numerous voluntary trips to developing countries to perform eye surgery on children. Dr. Cinotti was certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology in 1984.
