NextMD

We are very pleased to be able to offer our patients a means of secure communications with our offices and doctors. NextMD, from Healthcare, is a portal through which our patients can interact with the office. This is a new feature and, as time goes on, will be expanded to allow even more flexibility.

At the current time, once registered, patients are able to log into the NextMD site and can communicate with our offices and doctors using secure e-mail. This means that communications will not be sent through the internet as standard e-mail, but will ported directly to our electronic medical record server. Replys to our patients will remain on a secure server which will then notify the receiving party that there is a message to be viewed. The reciever will then log into the site and retrieve the message.

Patients will be able to request refills of currently prescribed medications, and direct us to notify the pharmacy of their choice. Patients can request an appointment on the date and time range of they choose - Of course this will require that we confirm the appointment as we will need to be sure that the requested date and time is available.

We plan on expanding this site, so that you will be able to fill out forms in advance of coming into the office, thus saving you time when you come in.
