Dr. Julia G. Schneider, M.D. is originally from Cincinnati, Ohio and is a graduate of The University of Michigan—Ann Arbor, with a Bachelor of Science in Brain, Behavior, and Cognitive Science. She then completed her medical degree at Boston University School of Medicine, and went on to ophthalmology residency at The University of Cincinnati/Cincinnati Eye Institute, where she served as Chief Resident. Following residency, she completed a Cornea, External disease, and Refractive Surgery fellowship at The Harkness Eye Institute of Columbia University under Dr. George Florakis, Dr. Leejee Suh and Dr. Danielle Trief. She specializes in all corneal transplants, cataract surgery, refractive surgery and comprehensive ophthalmology, and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Medical Association.
